Dhanush’s third directorial venture, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), has now found a new life on OTT after its theatrical run received mixed reviews. Released in Telugu as Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama, the film initially hit theaters on February 21, 2025, but failed to make a significant impact at the box office. However, with its arrival on Amazon Prime Video, audiences now have another chance to experience the romantic coming-of-age drama from the comfort of their homes.

Unlike many bilingual releases, the Tamil and Telugu versions of NEEK are listed separately on Amazon Prime Video. While the Tamil version debuted first, the Telugu version is named Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama, which joined the platform 10 days later, expanding its reach to a wider audience. This strategic OTT release offers the film a fresh opportunity to attract viewers who may have missed it in theaters.

Plot of NEEK

Prabhu, a young and passionate chef, is still haunted by the memories of his past love, Nila, despite their breakup a year ago.
