Dhanush wins paternity case, Madras HC dismisses couple's claim
The couple had claimed that the actor was their biological son, and had asked for a monthly maintenance of Rs 65,000.

The couple had filed the claim in the Melur court last November, and also sought a monthly maintenance of Rs 65,000 from him, as they were in a very poor financial position.
They had submitted that Dhanush was a school boy when he ran away to Chennai to get into the film world. They could not trace him then and recognised him while watching movies. Their efforts to meet him in Chennai did not succeed, they said.
Dhanush had earlier declined the court's suggestion for a DNA test. Last month, the court had asked the actor to undergo a medical examination to verify his identification marks. The results of which proved to be inconclusive.
