The fourth instalment has once again brought together Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi for another chaotic treasure hunt.

Dhamaal 4 is expected to make its digital debut on Netflix, with September 4, 2026 being reported as the tentative OTT release date by Filmibeat. However, neither Netflix nor the makers have officially confirmed September 4, so the date could still change.

The reported release comes around eight weeks after the film's theatrical debut on July 10. A 45-to-60-day gap between a theatrical release and its OTT premiere is common for films, and Dhamaal 4 appears to be following a similar timeline.

Its audience response, however, has not been completely uniform. Some viewers have enjoyed the family-friendly comedy and the nostalgia of the returning characters, while others have felt that the latest instalment does not reach the level of the earlier films.

What happens in Dhamaal 4?

The latest chapter once again revolves around a race for hidden treasure. Guddu and Johnny, who run an antique shop, discover that Prithvi knows where the treasure is located. Their plans quickly go wrong when the clumsy pirate Adhoora kidnaps Prithvi and destroys the treasure map.

Another plot detail from the film centres on a dying man's clue about treasure belonging to Shaitaan Singh. Guddu, Lallan, Adi and Manav then begin their search, with their families also getting caught up in the adventure.

Adhoora eventually becomes part of the treasure hunt, sending the characters into a series of misunderstandings, jungle adventures and chase sequences. The search leads them towards a mysterious island and treasure buried beneath the letter “M”.

Ajay Devgn returns with the familiar Dhamaal gang

Ajay Devgn plays Guddu in the film, while Arshad Warsi returns as Adi, Riteish Deshmukh plays Lallan and Jaaved Jaaferi reprises his role as Manav.

The cast also includes Ravi Kishan, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sanjay Mishra, Esha Gupta, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye and Vijay Patkar. Jackie Shroff provides the voice of the narrator.
