Dhamaal 4 OTT release details: Where and when to watch the Ajay Devgn starrer adventure-comedy after theatrical run

Ajay Devgn's Dhamaal 4 has finally arrived in theatres, bringing back one of Bollywood's most popular comedy franchises. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film reunites familiar faces including Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi for another treasure hunt filled with confusion, comedy and unexpected twists. The film opened in cinemas on July 10 and has generated mixed reactions from audiences.

While many viewers have enjoyed the family entertainer and its nostalgic appeal, others have felt the latest instalment does not match the charm of the earlier films. Even so, many fans are already looking ahead to its digital release and wondering when they will be able to watch it from home.

Dhamaal 4 OTT release: What is known so far?

The makers have not officially announced the OTT release date for Dhamaal 4. They have also not confirmed the streaming platform publicly.


However, several media reports suggest that Netflix has acquired the film's digital streaming rights ahead of its theatrical release. If the film follows the usual release pattern seen for many recent Bollywood titles, it is expected to arrive on the platform around six to eight weeks after its theatrical debut, which points to a possible release in mid or late August, or sometime in September. An official confirmation is still awaited.

What is Dhamaal 4 about?

The story begins when antique shop owners Guddu and Johnny learn that a man named Prithvi knows the location of a hidden treasure. Before they can uncover the secret, a clumsy pirate named Adhoora kidnaps Prithvi and tears apart the treasure map.

Since Prithvi is the only person who knows where the treasure is hidden, a chaotic race begins. Soon, Adi, Manav and Lallan become part of the hunt, leading to a series of comic misunderstandings, jungle adventures, chase sequences and plenty of silly mistakes as everyone tries to reach the treasure first.

Another description of the film says the hunt revolves around a mysterious treasure buried beneath the letter "M", with multiple characters competing to claim it before anyone else.

Dhamaal 4 is directed by Indra Kumar and written by Paritosh Painter, Vedd Prakash and Bunty Rathore. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Ravi Kishan, Esha Gupta, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye and Vijay Patkar.

The film has been produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Indra Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anand Pandit, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Ashok Thakeria.
