Devendra Kumar Vyas's creative mantra is in the kitchen
CEO of Srei Equipment Finance says that cooking helps him bond with his family too.

When Devendra Kumar Vyas, CEO, Srei Equipment Finance, isn’t running the show, he steps into the kitchen to sharpen his culinary skills. “Fortunately, my wife supports this hobby” Vyas says with a laugh, adding, “I learnt to cook at an early age as I pursued my education away from home.”
What Vyas enjoys most is that cooking keeps him on his toes, given there is always so much to learn. His recent experiments led him to fix the much-favoured comfort food, daal baati. “I have come to realise that planning, cooking, plating, and serving a pleasant meal is a creative vocation, which has definitely helped me unleash my creative side at work,” he says.
Vyas uses cooking to bond with his family too. As he heads into the kitchen, he concludes, “As I travel so much, my family time remains limited. Cooking helps me cherish our sacred family time.”.
