The actor delivered one of the biggest hits of 2023 with the blockbuster Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film generated huge buzz upon release. While the movie received mixed responses from the audience and critics alike, it still performed exceptionally well at the box office and became one of the highest-grossing films of the year.
Ranbir Kapoor does not come with an entourage, shares co-star
Actor Srinath Maganti, who played the brother of Rashmika Mandanna’s character in Animal, recently opened up about his experience of working with Ranbir. During an appearance on the Sodhi Chebutha podcast, Srinath spoke about the valuable lessons he learned while sharing screen space with the star.According to Srinath, Ranbir’s dedication to his craft stood out the most during the shoot. He recalled that the actor rarely wasted time between takes. Instead of relaxing or stepping away from the set, Ranbir would often rehearse scenes repeatedly with his co-stars to refine the performance. Srinath said watching him work so intensely motivated him to adopt the same habit in his own acting journey.
The actor also stated that Ranbir comes from a legendary film background. He is the grandson of celebrated filmmaker and actor Raj Kapoor and the son of late Bollywood star Rishi Kapoor. Despite belonging to such an influential family, Srinath said Ranbir carries himself with remarkable simplicity and humility on set.
Srinath also recalled a light-hearted moment from the shoot. He revealed, "When he comes on set, a huge plate filled with healthy chips, biscuits, chocolates and all kinds of snacks is brought along. It’s for the people around him on set. If you’re hungry, you pick it. I remember when I first took a snack, someone told me, ye sir ka hai (this is sir’s). I was like, itna khate kya sir (does sir eat this much)? Ranbir overheard and was like, aye, khaane de (let him eat). He’s not abusive, but he’s the kind to cuss with love."
He even remembered a moment when someone jokingly told him the snacks belonged to Ranbir. The star overheard the conversation and casually told them to let people eat freely. Srinath described this as a sign of Ranbir’s friendly nature and said the actor often jokes around with the team in a warm and relaxed way.

According to Forbes, Ranbir Kapoor reportedly has a net worth of Rs 345 crore. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor continues to stay busy with several big projects.
