Designer Rahul Mishra's journey from Paris to New Delhi

Fashion designer Rahul Mishra has a lot going on for him on the personal and professional front. His wife Divya delivered a baby girl last week in New Delhi while Rahul was showing his latest at the Paris Fashion Week. Now, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has announced that there will be an installation of Mishra's Paris Fashion Week SS'16 ensembles at the French Embassy on October 11, between 11 and 1 pm.

The FDCI President Sunil Sethi said in a statement, "Rahul is a maverick, he has succeeded in showing the strength of Indian craftsmanship, through the play of leaves used ingeniously as a recurring emblem. His scallops exuded sheer class and the mix of fabrics from satin, organza, leather-ite, denim to knits, made acclaimed critic Suzy Menkes term it 'magical'. We hope the select few invitees enjoy this visual treat at the AIFW SS '16."
