Demon Slayer Infinity Castle OTT release date in India: Streaming date, platform, timings, language versions and all you need to know about anime movie

Fans are eagerly counting down the days to watch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Infinity Castle from the comfort of their homes, especially those who missed seeing the highest-grossing anime film of 2025 in theatres. After nearly a year of dominating the global box office and becoming one of the biggest anime successes in recent history, the blockbuster is finally making its way to OTT, with Indian fans getting their own streaming option.

When and where to watch Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle in India

The wait is almost over for anime lovers. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle will begin streaming on July 28. Netflix announced earlier this month that the film would arrive on its platform across several Asian countries from July 28. However, the company clarified that the release does not include India, Japan or Mainland China.

For viewers in India, the movie will instead stream exclusively on Crunchyroll. The film will be available from 8:30 PM IST (8:00 AM PT) on July 28, allowing fans to experience the first chapter of the much-awaited Infinity Castle trilogy at home.


Crunchyroll is releasing the movie in several dubbed and subtitled languages, making it accessible to a wide audience across different regions.

Indian viewers will be able to watch the film with Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs, alongside the original Japanese version with English subtitles. Other dubbed language options include English, French, German, Italian, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Catalan, Russian, Thai and Polish.

The platform is also offering subtitles in multiple languages, including English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Russian, Polish, Chinese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Portuguese and several others.

The wide selection of audio and subtitle options is expected to make the film more accessible for both longtime fans and newcomers to the franchise.

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki and produced by animation studio Ufotable, Infinity Castle Part 1 picks up immediately after the events of the Hashira Training Arc.

The movie is the beginning of the highly anticipated Infinity Castle trilogy, which adapts one of the most important story arcs from Koyoharu Gotouge's manga. It follows Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps as they prepare for their most dangerous battle yet against Muzan Kibutsuji and the Upper Rank demons inside the mysterious Infinity Castle.

Known for its breathtaking animation, emotional storytelling and spectacular action sequences, the film quickly became one of the biggest anime releases ever after arriving in theatres.

Infinity Castle enjoyed extraordinary success during its theatrical release. According to Variety, the film remained in cinemas for 266 days, collecting around ¥40.21 billion (approximately $271 million) in Japan while selling nearly 27.4 million tickets.

Its success was not limited to Japan. The film also became the highest-grossing anime movie of 2025, while setting new records as the highest-grossing Japanese film and the highest-grossing anime movie in North America. Such was the demand that it even received a limited theatrical re-release in North America.

The movie also attracted recognition during awards season. It earned nominations in the Best Motion Picture – Animated category at the Golden Globe Awards and the Producers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures. It was also included on the BAFTA Awards longlist for Best Animated Film.

Despite its remarkable performance, the movie narrowly missed becoming Japan's biggest anime blockbuster. That record continues to belong to Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, which remains the country's highest-grossing anime film.
