Delhi's 'Vada Pav Girl' accuses husband Yugam Gera of cheating on her. He warns 'tujhe maine banaya hai' as couple engage in social media war

What began as a rags-to-viral-fame story has now turned into a deeply personal public fallout. Bigg Boss OTT fame Chandrika Dixit, popularly known as Delhi’s ‘Vada Pav Girl’, is once again in the spotlight, but this time for reasons far removed from her food stall success. A series of emotional videos shared online has sparked intense discussion, as Chandrika accused her husband, Yugam Gera of cheating, triggering a messy social media war that has left the internet divided.

Chandrika Dixit first rose to fame after a video of her selling vada pav at a small stall in Delhi’s Sainik Vihar went viral. Her popularity skyrocketed almost overnight, eventually opening doors to mainstream recognition. She went on to appear on Bigg Boss OTT 3, hosted by Anil Kapoor and won by Sana Makbul. Following the show, Chandrika expanded her journey by opening her own café, further cementing her identity beyond the viral tag of ‘Vada Pav Girl’.

The public feud

Recently, Chandrika found herself trending again after posting videos alleging that her husband, Yugam Gera, also known as Yash Dixit, had been cheating on her. In the videos, she appeared visibly emotional and shared that she had remained silent for over two months despite dealing with the situation privately. According to her, during this period, she continued working, managing her home, and taking care of her child, while struggling internally with what she described as betrayal.


She went on to show images and chats on her phone, claiming they were proof of her husband’s involvement with another woman. Chandrika stated that it was not just photographs that hurt her, but much more serious details that had affected her mental health. She said the situation had left her unable to function normally, impacting both her personal and professional life.

Yugam Gera hits back

Soon after Chandrika’s allegations surfaced, Yugam Gera responded with his own videos. He acknowledged making a mistake but downplayed its seriousness, while also alleging that Chandrika herself had been unfaithful. He claimed to have evidence to support his side but said he chose not to escalate matters further. In a statement that drew sharp reactions online, he asserted that the restaurant Chandrika was running existed because of him and remarked that he was the one who had made her who she was. He wrote, "Tuje maine bnaya hai yaad rakh."

The situation escalated further when Yugam shared videos of himself arriving in Delhi by train, stating that he had returned for the food stall he claimed to have built. He warned Chandrika not to become an obstacle in his path. In subsequent videos filmed at the stall, he said she would never have access to it and repeated his claim that he was responsible for building her success. He also issued warnings about her personal associations with other men, stating that while she could be with anyone she wanted, they should not be seen at his food stall.
