Delhi Dynamos's Del Piero, the Italian babu with a desi taste

Not all Italian men can stomach Indian food for three months and turns out, Alessandro Del Piero is more the rule than the exception.

Playing for Delhi Dynamos in the recently concluded Indian Super League, the football legend found out he wasn't much of a spicy food fan. Being particular about what he eats, Del Piero even shopped for his own Italian cheese and olive oil. But he did take a particular fancy to butter naan, we hear.

The only time the player binged, it was at New Delhi's fancy fusion restaurant Indian Accent, every time he visited the capital. And more than the kebabs and delicious mains, Del Piero honed in on the naans with a twist.
