Deepika shines in gold; Kangana is at her sartorial best at Cannes

Having made heads turn in a white Zuhair Murad gown on Day 1 at Cannes, actress Deepika Padukone channeled her inner Wonder Woman in a gold Alberta Ferretti gown on Day 2.

Earlier in the day she looked like the boss lady that she is in a ultra-violet suit.

Another Indian actress who has been grabbing eyeballs at the French Rivria, Kangana Ranaut went from retro in Sabyasachi to New York-chic in a red leather Nanushka dress with black sunnies.

Kangana, who made her Cannes red carpet debut this year, was earlier seen in a pastel Zuhair Murad gown.

Other Indian appearances include, Cannes-veteran Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who walk the red carpet on May 12 and 13, while newly-married Sonam Kapoor will be there on May 14 and 15.

Actress Huma Qureshi is also attending festival and made her red carpet appearance in a beige pantsuit from designer by Nikhil Thampi.

Qureshi met Hollywood star Lupita Nyong'o at the festival and also posted a photo with the "Black Panther" star on Instagram.

"It's always great to bump into strong inspiring women.. So nice to meet the beautiful and uber talented Lupita Nyong'o," she wrote.
