2 eggs
Some more chilli oil for garnish
Egg ema datshi: How to prepare
To prepare egg ema datshi, start by melting some butter in a pan over medium heat. Next, add finely chopped garlic and sauté briefly until aromatic. Stir in sliced green chillies and cook for another minute to release the aromatic flavour. Pour in a splash of water and allow the mixture to gently simmer. After that, add the 2 cheese slices and keep stirring until they dissolve into a smooth, creamy sauce. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper before removing the pan from the heat.
In a separate pan, melt a little butter and carefully crack in the eggs. Lightly season them with a sprinkle of salt, then spoon the cheesy chilli mixture over the top. Let the eggs cook until perfectly set and creamy. Serve immediately while hot and bubbling. You can enjoy the yummy egg ema datshi either with rice, roti or bread.
