Deepika Padukone and family enjoy dinner date with Lakshya Sen. Video goes viral

Lakshya Sen, who has recently made headlines for his time at the Paris Olympics, was seen dining with Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in Mumbai last night. For the dinner, Sen was dressed casually in a red and white T-shirt with a phoenix print, paired with white jeans and simple white running shoes. Deepika Padukone wore a black outfit with a formal black jacket and white canvas shoes.

The dinner was also attended by Ranveer’s family. Deepika’s father, Prakash Padukone, has been a key mentor and coach to Lakshya Sen. During his recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sen revealed a unique strategy employed by his coach, Prakash Padukone, to help him stay focused during the Games. "Prakash Sir had taken away my phone during the matches, saying I wouldn’t get it back until the competition was over," Sen explained.

Sen’s Olympic journey was marked by both triumph and heartbreak. He made history as the first Indian shuttler to reach the semifinals in men's badminton at the Olympics. With notable victories over top players like Jonatan Christie of Indonesia and HS Prannoy, Sen’s path to the semifinals was filled with impressive achievements. Despite his stunning win against Chou Tien-chen in the quarterfinals, he narrowly missed out on a medal after losing to world No. 1 Viktor Axelsen.



Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child, with the couple announcing the news on Instagram on February 29. They shared that the baby is due in September.

In her recent work, Deepika Padukone starred in Kalki 2898 - AD alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. She will appear in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again and the Hindi remake of The Intern, where she will also work with Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier this year, she was seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan.

Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding in 2018 included a private ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, with close friends and family, followed by grand receptions in Bengaluru and Mumbai. The couple began dating in 2012, got secretly engaged in 2015, and revealed their engagement on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 8 last year.
