December wedding for Niraj Bajaj’s daughter

Niraj Bajaj, CMD, Mukand Ltd., and his family will be marking the end of the year in style. On December 20 and 21, Bajaj’s eldest daughter Kriti, 29, will marry Ram Chandra, an IIT-Madras and IIM-Lucknow graduate, in Mumbai.

The two are colleagues at Eros Labs, a Delhi-based technology startup. When contacted, Niraj confirmed the news, replying via a text message, "Thanks, it’s a joyous occasion for the entire Bajaj family. However, our daughter Kriti does not like to be in the public eye and I hope you will appreciate that to respect her sentiment, we are not saying anything."

Kriti has chosen to strike her own path, post her studies at Stanford. Instead of working with the family business, this " medical researcher turned tech aficionado," has stuck to the world of startups. Before Eros Labs, she worked with Knimbus, an online research platform.
