Debjani Ghosh's mom's Pujo request is all heart, with a side of dessert

With festive season around the corner, people are looking at new ways to celebrate as we continue to live in the pandemic. From muted, and virtual celebrations to the joy of giving, festivities are taking a new turn. And one such example of the latter was visible in Debjani Ghosh's Twitter post detailing a conversation she had with her mother.

The President of the National Association of Software & Services Companies (NASSCOM) asked her mum what she wanted for Durga Pujo, and her answer won her heart.

In a tweet, the technology industry veteran wrote, "Me to mom - what do you want for Pujo? Mom - lets call your friend #KhushrooPoacha and provide some warm meals.. and don't forget to add a dessert. (My friend Khushroo runs #SewaKitchen that feeds 1000s of people in need daily)

Me to myself.. I am raising this one right."


Keeping the upcoming festive season in mind, the top boss had also shared an article on guidelines for those planning to host get togethers to celebrate.
