Death on the sets of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma'

According to a report on an entertainment portal, Arvind Marchande, head production controller on the show, passed away yesterday (June 30) afternoon on the set due to heart attack.

The report quoted a source that Arvind complained of chest pain and uneasiness. However, everyone thought that it must have happened due to indigestion and he was given ENO for some relief. But after sometime things got worse when he couldn't bear the pain and died on the spot.

Arvind was immediately rushed to a suburban hospital where he was declared dead. Arvind's sudden demise has shocked everyone and as a result shooting has been called off for a day or two. Producer Asit Modi and other people associated with the show paid a visit to the hospital to offer their condolences.
