Days before 'Jawan' release, Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana & Nayanthara with Vignesh Sivan offer prayers at Tirumala temple

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is busy on a spiritual journey, ahead of the much-anticipated release of his action thriller 'Jawan'.

The actor was recently spotted at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati to seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu on Tuesday morning. He was accompanied by his daughter Suhana Khan, manager Pooja Dadlani, co-star Nayanthara and Telugu film-maker Vignesh Sivan.

A series of photos and videos of SRK, Suhana, Nayanthara and Vignesh - all dressed in traditional attire - started doing the rounds on social media. While the 'Chak De India' actor wore a pristine white ensemble with a gold border, his daughter looked elegant in a white suit. Nayanthara and her director-husband were also twinning in white.


The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) officials welcomed the entire team on arrival at the temple. The 'Jawan' stars, Suhana and Vignesh participated in Suprabhata Seva. All arrangements were made beforehand.


After the darshan, the Khans, Nayanthara & Vignesh reached Ranganaykula Mandapam where the priests performed the Veda Ashirvachanam and presented Teertha Prasadam. They offered prayers at the Tirumala temple.

Amid tight security, SRK arrived in Tirupati in the early hours of Tuesday and headed straight for morning darshan at the famous hill shrine. He sported a stylish blue jacket paired with brown cargo pants.

Last week, King Khan had sought blessings at the Vaishno Devi temple.

Set for a September 7 release, the movie will also star Vijay Sethupathi in the role of an antagonist. The cast also includes Deepika Padukone (special appearance), Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and Ridhi Dogra.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Suhana is awaiting the release of her upcoming movie 'The Archies'. The Netflix film, scheduled to premiere on December 7, marks her acting debut. The film, helmed by Zoya Akhtar, is expected to introduce a series of new talents to the world of Indian cinema.?
