David Beckham trolls son in Instagram video

LOS ANGELES: Former soccer star David Beckham embarrassed teenage son Brooklyn in an adorable video, showing off his more Instagram followers than him.

Brooklyn, 16, uploaded a video on the photo-sharing site to thank his one million followers, "So it's my mum's birthday today and I just reached a million followers," the teen said but his father jumped in and proudly declared, "I've got 52!"

Brooklyn had a good sense of humour. "Reached 1 million followers on my mums birthday. Thank u guys so much #ismydadcoolerthanme," he captioned the cute video, reported E! Online.

While Brooklyn may have some competition in the form of his famous parents (David and Victoria Beckham), he was able to beat out Eva Longoria, who could not help but tweet about his accomplishment.

"Congrats brooklynbeckham for beating me to 1M followers on Instagram! I'll be catching up!" she tweeted.
