David Beckham thanks wife on 16th marriage anniversary

LOS ANGELES: Former soccer star David Beckham took the occasion of his 16th marriage anniversary to thank wife Victoria for giving him their four kids.

The British couple, who got married on July 4 1999, after two years of dating, celebrated the anniversary with a formal family dinner.

Victoria and David have sons Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10, and daughter Harper, who is almost 4.


"16 years ago today was our special day... 16 years on we have our beautiful children... Thank you for giving me our amazing little ones... Happy anniversary,"

David posted on Instagram besides a picture of the couple.

Victoria, 41, took to Twitter to share a picture of the family on the special occasion, reported Us Weekly Magazine.

All of the pair's boys donned dapper suits for the formal occasion, while little Harper grinned in a grey, floor-length dress.
