Daughter Riddhima pens emotional note on Rishi Kapoor's birth anniversary, says he lives in her broken heart

NEW DELHI: Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor, who passed away on April 30 after a two-year-long battle with cancer, would have turned 68 today. His daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, took to Instagram to share a heart-breaking note for her father on his birth anniversary.

Kapoor-Sahni, who had travelled from Delhi to Mumbai for her father's last rites during the three-month-long lockdown, said that he will continue to stay in her broken heart forever. She mentioned that Kapoor gave her the gift of 'compassion' and taught her the value of relationships.

Along with a series of throwback pictures of the late actor with the family - including her, mother Neetu and brother Ranbir - she wrote that she misses him every day.

The ‘Bobby’ actor had sought treatment for leukemia in the US for almost two years after which he passed away at the HN Reliance hospital in south Mumbai.
