As the year rolls on, we realise we take fewer vacations because of some commitment or the other. But, it's necessary to relax and unwind. It doesn't have to be an extravagant once-a-year vacation, but quick short weekend breaks will do the trick just as easily. Try some new activity with every vacation, and have fun at it. Even if you hate it, you'd at least have learnt something new.

More teamwork

For a relationship to be successful there has to be teamwork, and not just one person doing all the heavy lifting. It can start off with small goals, like going on morning walks together or taking turns at cooking a meal and dividing up your chores for spring cleaning.

Surprise her

A wonderful and simple gesture such as a thoughtful surprise makes all the difference. It could be as plain as picking up her favourite food, or tickets to a movie, or just fixing something in the house like a light bulb that you've been meaning to do, but never got around to.

Be open to new experiences

When it comes to dating, we all have a checklist, but sometimes that can be the very thing that stops us because someone did not match that little box. However, it is important to keep an open mind.
