The lightsaber was also used in the 'Return of the Jedi' film. The prop is expected to fetch at least $1 million, according to AP. Vader’s lightsaber is among over two dozen lightsaber props that will be up for the auction.
Other lightsabers going for auction include ones wielded by Ewan McGregor’s character Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker. These props were used in ‘Revenge of the Sith’. The lightsabers are expected to sell for at least $10,000 each.

What other Star Wars collectibles are up for the November auction?
There are several collectibles from across the Star Wars franchise which will be for sale in the November 12 auction by Heritage Auctions. These include an EE-3 carbine blaster wielded by Boba Fett in ‘The Empire Strikes Back’. The blaster is expected to fetch more than $100,000.
