Dapper Niranjan Hiranandani on building a house

Among the various top-billing builders who participated in the ET Real Estate Investment Summit last week, was the very dapper Niranjan Hiranandani. The real estate baron spoke at length in a panel discussion on Real Estate Investment Trusts.

Following the wrap-up of the session, when Hiranandani was in a relaxed and expansive mood, on the sidelines he gamely took queries from milling scribes.

Asked about Hirco’s legal imbroglio and the ongoing tussle, his light-hearted response was a rhetorical, “Which family does not have differences?” adding that sorting out things before going to bed is always the best way to deal with sticky issues.

Sticks and stones may break a man’s bones, but when you are as quick-witted as Hiranandani, you can build a house with them.
