On Monday, Sourav Ganguly tweeted a photo with his new team.
Sourav Ganguly is just days away from being in charge of affairs at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). However, if the Bengal tiger’s Twitter feed is any indication, the former Team India skipper has already swung into motion as the boss.

On Monday, Ganguly tweeted a photo with his new team. "The new team at. @bcci .. hopefully we can work well .. anurag thakur thank you for seeing this through," he wrote on Twitter.

And among those who responded to him were former England captain Kevin Pietersen and actor Suniel Shetty. The latter, clearly a fan of Ganguly’s on-field antics, urged him to be “fearless and limitless.”

In the picture the 46-year-old is seen standing with Jay Shah, Arun Dhumal and Jayesh George, who, along with Ganguly, comprise the new BCCI team. Former BCCI chief and Mos Finance, Anurag Thakur - whose younger brother Arun is tipped to be the new treasurer, is seen standing next to the cricketer-turned-commentator.

Jay, son of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, is set to be the new Secretary of the BCCI while Jayesh George will be the new Joint Secretary.

While addressing the media on Monday after filing his nomination, Ganguly said that he wants to bring normalcy back in BCCI. He also reiterated that he had never expressed any aspiration to become the BCCI President.

"Hopefully in the next few months, we can put everything in place and bring back normalcy in Indian cricket," Ganguly said on Monday.

"I had never expressed my aspirations for this post. I never spoke to anyone. Until 10:30 in the night yesterday, I was not aware of this. Then I was informed that I have to be the President of the BCCI," he went on to say.

"Indian cricket administration has to be the best in the world. We have to get the administration in order," he added.
