Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana's first car was a maroon Swift Dzire which she got for her dad around five years ago. She told ET Panache, "My dad used to travel for a long distance from our house for work. I wanted to gift him an automatic car, so that he does not have much stress. I was able to buy it and I was very happy. We still have it."

The 23-year-old has a white Hyundai Creta that she had got for her brother. "I drive it myself. I love long drives. But for me Sangli to Mumbai is a trip that I do every month at least when I am home. I think every 15 to 20 days, I come. I sleep through most of the drive. My dad and brother, are my favourite people to go for with on long drives. The Sangli roads are quite empty and perfect for long drives. We go for a good two hours at around 8:30 or 9:30 at night," she shared.

For her next car, the batswoman would actually like a vanity van. "I can sleep and come from Sangli to Mumbai. I want to have a comfortable ride," Mandhana said with a laugh. "My brother keeps texting me about the latest Audi and BMWs that have come. He keeps suggesting I buy one of them. He does share the specifications," she added.

If the cricketer had to name her car it would be SM18 as they are her initials and jersey number. For a big award night, Mandhana would opt for an SUV but she is not much of a car person, so she is not sure which car. "I would be wearing a dress so I would go for an SUV that would make me comfortable which is higher and I am able to sit comfortably. I am not sure of the brand," she ended.
