The star-studded film 'Crew' featuring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon has made a significant splash at the box office, proving to be a crowd favourite right from its opening day. On its debut day, 'Crew' raked in an impressive Rs 10.28 crore in India alone, marking it as the third-highest opener of 2024 in Bollywood, following closely behind hits like 'Fighter' and 'Shaitaan.'

The film's global appeal was evident as well, with a total worldwide collection of Rs 20.07 crore on its opening day, as per the makers, showcasing its widespread popularity among audiences. 'Fighter' opened with Rs 24.6 crore and 'Shaitaan' opened with Rs 15.21 crore.

The unique charm of 'Crew' lies not just in its star-studded cast but also in its refreshing storyline. As an industry tracker noted, "In times when political dramas are trying to make a statement abound, 'Crew' is a welcome change. It’s light, easy-breezy and stays true to being a masala entertainer."
