The movie follows Wile E. Coyote after yet another series of failed attempts to catch the Road Runner. This time, instead of simply ordering another Acme product, he decides to take the company to court. He hires a lawyer played by Will Forte, setting up a courtroom comedy involving the cartoon character and the giant corporation behind all those famously unreliable products.

Why did Coyote vs. Acme take so long to release?

The film's journey to theatres has been unusually complicated.

The movie was filmed in 2022 and completed in 2023. However, Warner Bros. decided not to release it and planned to use the completed film as a tax write-off. The decision became part of a wider controversy around the studio's treatment of completed projects, including Batgirl and an animated Scooby-Doo film.
