What if you were told spending time in the kitchen could be an ideal team-building exercise for executives who spend most of their time in conference rooms? Don't take our word for it — ask the winners of 'Kitchen Wars', a corporate culinary contest that took place over July weekends in Bangalore.

The inaugural season organised over three weekends in July in Bangalore saw 32 teams from companies like Infosys, Dell, Adobe, Puma, Deutsche Bank, and Café Coffee Day amongst others pit their skills against each other in the cook-off, organized by Bangalore-based, Something's Cooking Culinary Arts, as well as home appliances company Whirlpool of India.

Eventually, the Deloitte team came up trumps, winning an all-expense paid trip to Bangkok, including a food workshop. The winning dishes, you ask? The chef wonderguys put forward a menu of Seafood Assiette, Nalli Khaas and Lemongrass Cheese Cake with a Soft-centred Fondant.
