Corporate bigwigs who upped the style quotient at ET Awards
They may be at the top of their game in the business world, but these corporate figures know how to score in the fashion stakes as well. The ET Awards for Corporate Excellence saw a lot of the top businessmen ditch the suit and opt for more trendy attire that showcased their personality. Here's a roundup of some of the men who made their mark at the ET Awards.

Siddhartha Lal

When you're passionate about something, you wear it on your sleeve. Lal's love for motorcycles was clear for everyone to see thanks to his shirt, which featured a bikes motif. The rugged MD of Eicher Motors added a fun element to the formal affair with the shirt, his justout-of-bed hair and funky sneakers.

Mukesh Ambani

The Reliance Industries chairman is fond of wearing red and white ties. But on this evening, he opted for a tieless, more laidback look. However, a pop of colour would have been a welcome sight to his black ensemble.

Kunal Bahl

Snapdeal offers a lot of fashion for men. So it was no surprise that its cofounder Bahl upped the style game with his quirky checked shirt and a bandi. The purple hue of his outfit and the red pocket square added a regal touch, making him one of the fashion forward men at the event. Bahl was overheard saying he felt out of place last year when he wore a checked shirt and a jacket. Obviously, this year he spared no effort to be suitably togged.

Vishal Sikka

Sikka took a leaf out of the David Beckham style book, dropping the collared shirt for a tee under his suit. We love it that the Infosys boss took a risk. But a V-neck shirt in a lighter hue would have nailed this mix of high and low fashion.

Ashish Hemrajani

The bookmyshow founder kept it cool in his casual look. With a classic combination of a white shirt paired with fitted denims, Hemrajani made sure he stood out in the sea of suits.

Mittu Chandilya

Mittu nails most looks and he wowed once again in an Indo-Western outfit. We loved the black detailing on the bandi which complemented his trousers and shoes. However, with his sporty build, we wish he would take more fashion risks. Adar Poonawalla Poonawalla stuck to a classic suit and a blue tie. You can't go wrong with this look. It's safe, stylish and Poonawalla wears it well. What may have looked boring on someone else looks effortless on the young industrialist.
