Cook a 5-star meal at home

Luxury hotel Renaissance Mumbai's new service ' RChef@Home' helps you create a 5-star dining experience at home, with the executive chef Sandeep Pande preparing a seven-course meal. "We wanted to do something for our guests that is not very 'hotel-like'.

One of the key elements at Renaissance is 'discovery' — a culinary discovery for our guests as they are taken through the dishes by the chef and his team," says Nasir Shaikh, Director of Operations, Renaissance Mumbai.

All of this, including a night's stay is priced at Rs 9.9 lakh and was launched on February 21. The services can be budgeted, but not to lower than Rs 1 lakh.

Pande, who specialises in cuisines like Mediterranean, Indian, Thai and English Pub, says "I don't want to see big refrigerators. I like fresh produce for my dishes. Processed foods are an absolute no for me."
