Congratulations in order! Ad veteran Sam Balsara's daughter welcomes second child

Three years ago, when his daughter was about to get married, ad world veteran Sam Balsara had one piece of advice for her, “Embrace motherhood at the earliest.” He’s a happy father today as he speaks about Lara following through on his advice. She delivered her second child, a boy, last week.

Balsara, who’s been the pioneer of the Jiyo Parsi campaign, encouraging young Parsi men and women to marry early and have families, shared the good news with pride. “I know that when we launched the campaign, it was a bit controversial. I remember at an event, a young girl walked up to me and said that who or when she marries is nobody’s business. But all we are speaking about is the importance of sharing your life with someone and the joy it brings you,” he said.

As a grandfather, twice over, he speaks from experience about the happiness that is a full house. His granddaughter Kaira and grandson Karl are important additions to the household. Interestingly, the names of both the kids borrow elements from those of their parents, Lara and Kaizad. Congratulations are in order for the family.
