Common link between Elon Musk, Larry Page and Manish Arora? The Burning Man Festival

The Burning Man Festival sees many big names year after year, including Elon Musk, Larry Page and our very own Manish Arora. The fashion designer says, “I do not take too many holidays – just two a year, one in Goa and one for the Burning Man Festival.”

The festival plays out each year in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert where 70,000 people build a city in a week, burn a giant wooden effigy of a man, and then restore the arid playa to its original state.

In recent years it has become popular with Silicon Valley millionaires and billionaires. This year, some of the celebrities who are attending include Paris Hilton and Cara Delevingne. Known for outrageous costumes, art installations, and an economy based on the goodwill of others, Burning Man has also become the place for some of the who’s who to escape to.
