Comedian Bharati Singh to undergo emergency surgery, films vlog from hospital

Stand-up comedian and TV host Bharti Singh was hospitalised after experiencing abdominal pain. Later, in her vlog, Singh informed fans that she would be undergoing gallbladder surgery.

Singh was suffering from excruciating abdominal pain and assumed she had indigestion. When that pain did not subside, she went to the hospital where she was diagnosed with gallbladder stones.

In the vlog, Singh appeared to be very emotional and said that she missed her son, Golla, as he was searching for her in the house. The ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ host revealed that she was shooting for the vlog from the hospital. She revealed that due to continuously suffering from stomach aches, she was unable to eat. Due to her condition, she has been put on a liquid diet and has been unable to eat any of her favourite food items.


She also requested followers to get examined if they are experiencing stomach pain or persistent digestion problems.

On the work front, Singh appeared in the 2023 romantic comedy, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The movie marked the directorial comeback of Karan Johar. It starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead. She also currently hosts the fourth season of the dancing reality TV show ‘Dance Deewane’ season 4.
