Colour meets couture in Myntra’s redone office

Myntra co-founder Mukesh Bansal's instructions when it came to redoing the company's Bengaluru office was simple. The space should spell fashion to anyone who entered it and should be like no other office in the country. In keeping with that, of the three-storeyed building has a fashion magazine inspired decor on the second floor and rooms inspired by famous brands and designers on the third floor, among other highlights. Here, Myntra's executives pick their favourite spots in their office.



A Swinging Style: "The swings help me keep pace with my mind," says Mani Shanker Singh, Senior Creative Director. "When I am in that free thinking space, my ideas and I are travelling together. Chairs suddenly feel so boring. Our team loves to brainstorm here."


The Breakout Area: This is the corner in the office that is favoured most by Ajit Narayanan, SVP, Engineering. "It is designed like a race track. The colourful space pushes me to think beyond my limits and realise my capabilities. So thinking out of the box is not a requirement, it becomes a habit," he says.

Look Good Café: Employees often catch a break or entertain visitors in this café. Ananya Tripathi, Head - Strategy & Planning, says, "It’s a great place not just to meet our visitors and brand partners but a good cup of coffee always helps to get the ideas flowing."


On Sure Footing: Vidya Gopal, AVP, Content Marketing and Analytics, says, "This is a favourite spot of women because of their love of shoes. But for me, it is also a great place to meet my co-workers. The open space helps us be footloose and fancyfree. It helps us think out of the box and be creative."
