Cocktail 2 release date announced. Teaser to premiere in theatres with Dhurandhar 2. Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Kriti Sanon’s first look out

The wait is finally over. There has been a fresh update on Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-awaited Cocktail 2. The sequel marks the return of Homi Adajania to the director’s chair, who also helmed the first part starring Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty. It was released in 2012. Now, Cocktail 2’s cast has dropped the first-look posters from the upcoming film. The update also comes with the release date announcement. Fans, the countdown begins as Cocktail 2 is slated to hit the silver screens on June 19, 2026. But cinema-goers who will watch Dhurandhar 2 in the theatres will get the opportunity to witness Cocktail 2's teaser.

The newly unveiled posters offer a first glimpse into the film’s key characters. Shahid Kapoor appears as the intense, urban figure of the trio. In his poster, he is seen casually leaning against a green convertible, dressed in a red-and-white patterned shirt and dark sunglasses. The bright seaside setting behind him adds to the stylish, sun-drenched aesthetic of the frame.


In contrast, Rashmika Mandanna brings a lively and carefree energy to her poster. She is captured laughing while leaning out of the moving car, holding up a smartphone as if capturing the picturesque surroundings. Her outfit—a white crochet top paired with pink sunglasses—is complemented by stacked bracelets and a heart-shaped pendant, enhancing her playful, vacation-ready look.

Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon introduces a more enigmatic and chic presence. In her poster, she is seen reclining comfortably in the back seat of the convertible, her feet stretched out in a relaxed pose. The orange-tinted sunglasses and a subtle “Catch the sea” tattoo on her foot lend the image a distinctive bohemian flair.

Cocktail 2 is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, with the screenplay penned by Luv Ranjan. Dimple Kapadia, Arjun Rampal, and Rohit Saraf are also a part of the movie. The cast and crew of Cocktail 2 completed shooting for the film in January. According to reports, the movie will offer a fresh spin on the love triangle formula, blending glamour, fashion, and romance all into one.

Workwise, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in O’Romeo, Kriti Sanon was last seen in Tere Ishk Mein and Rashmika Mandanna, who was last seen in Netflix’s The Girlfriend, also has Mysaa and Ranabaali with her husband, actor Vijay Deverakonda, lined up apart from Cocktail 2
