Less than a month ago, Bengaluru-based startup, Clear Tax’s founder Archit Gupta had a fanboy moment. He found himself face to face with childhood hero, chess grandmaster Viswanathan Anand. The meeting brought back memories for Gupta, who recalled an incident from his school days. Anand was playing a match in Delhi, back in 2000 at a venue close to Gupta’s school. In a bid to watch him play, Gupta bunked school. As sports go, it was an unusual move. For how many schoolboys play truant to catch a game of chess?
