CID 2 will arrive on your screens sooner than you realise! The highly anticipated
CID 2 is set to premiere on December 21, 2024, on Sony Entertainment Television, taking the familiar 10 PM time slot. Unlike the earlier season, which aired on Fridays, this new installment will now be broadcast on weekends, marking a shift in its schedule while retaining its classic late-night slot.
On Friday, the channel's official Instagram account unveiled a promotional video, confirming the launch date and time slot for
CID Season 2. The caption read, “Apraadhi chahe kitne bhi darwaze band kar lein, Daya se nahi bachenge! Dekhiye #CID 21st December se, Sat-Sun raat 10 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par."
The video clip shared showcased Dayanand Shetty reprising his evergreen role,
Inspector Daya, and performing electrifying stunts. He was also shown having a rather dramatic entry scene. The clip ends with a voiceover from
