The “Selling Sunset” star announced her separation from Australian musician G Flip after more than four years together. In an emotional Instagram video, Stause said she still loved G Flip and admitted she was struggling with the breakup, on Monday, October 26. Her former boyfriend, Jason Oppenheim, later left a supportive message. Stause admitted she felt like a "failure."

What did Jason Oppenheim say to Chrishell Stause?

Oppenheim showed his support in the comments under her Instagram post, “You’re both beautiful people and sometimes things just don’t work out, but it certainly doesn’t mean anyone failed. There’s probably nothing anyone can say to make you feel better right now, it might just take some time to process. But please know that you’re very loved and I’m always there for you no matter what.”

Why did Chrishell Stause call herself a ‘failure’?

In her Instagram video, Stause became emotional as she spoke about the end of her relationship. She started, “I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys. G and I are no longer together. We have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other. That’s not hard for me because I am in love with this person, and I don’t have all the information or the reasons.”

She clarified the reason she shared the video: "You have been so supportive and so loving.”

She continued to explain how she felt like a ‘failure’ and added, “I don’t know what else to say you guys. I feel like a little bit of a failure. There’s nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself. I just have to kind of heal and figure this out. It’s hard. It’s painful.”

“I’m a lover girl. I swing big. I miss,” she said. However, she also reflected on the more than four years she spent with G Flip, “Or maybe you don’t miss, maybe this are the life and seasons you’re meant to have with people and I had an amazing over four years with G. Maybe that’s not a miss, you know. Maybe it’s just coming to terms with it being a different ending than you had imagined.”

She ended her message and made it clear that her feelings for the musician had not disappeared. “I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing,” she said. “This sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy and I wish that for both of us.”

After Stause’s video went live, G Flip also shared a statement in an Instagram post.
