According to Realtor.com, the sale was completed off-market in July 2026 but became public only recently. Puth had purchased the property in 2017 for $4.17 million, meaning its latest sale price is more than four times what he originally paid. The property covers around 5,920 square feet and has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It is located behind gates and surrounded by mature greenery, giving the house a private setting in Montecito, California. The buyer is reportedly a limited liability company connected to venture capitalist John Jarve, a partner at Menlo Ventures and founder of Sierra Point Capital.

This Was More Than Just A Celebrity Home

The Montecito property became particularly important to Puth and Brooke because it was where they chose to get married. The couple tied the knot on September 7, 2024, holding the ceremony at Puth's family residence. Their wedding took place outdoors, with the couple exchanging vows in front of an olive tree in the home's driveway. Vogue reported that the pair chose the residence because they felt it offered the right setting for their celebration.

Brooke explained to Vogue that the couple wanted the wedding to combine traditional elements with more playful details. “I wanted our wedding to marry tradition with modern unconventionality,” she said. The celebration included several unusual touches, including mini hot dogs served on silver platters, a detail Brooke said reflected her love for mixing elegant and playful styles.

Puth And Brooke Have Known Each Other Since Childhood

The story behind the couple's wedding home goes back much further than their marriage. Puth and Brooke grew up in New Jersey and knew each other as children. People reported that their families were friends, while Vogue noted that their fathers had attended elementary school together. They began dating in 2022 and became engaged in September 2023. Puth later proposed to Brooke in New York after flying there from Los Angeles. The couple's relationship eventually brought them to the Montecito home for their wedding.

New Jersey Monthly reported earlier this year that despite living in California, Puth still maintains a strong connection to his home state. The publication noted that “New Jersey” is even the title of a song on his 2026 album Whatever's Clever!.
