The BCCC (Broadcasting Content Complaints February Council) has asked E24 to run an apology scroll for airing an uncensored trailer of NH10. According to the complaint, the channel aired a trailer of NH10 during an interview of the film's actors in one of its shows, Bollywood 2020.

The trailer ended with the word 'f**k' and the word wasn't beeped or muted by the channel. Upon examining the clip and the complaint, the Council found that the trailer that was aired on the channel didn't have CBFC ( Central Board of Film Certification) clearance. According to the guidelines, no promotrailer can be aired until it's certified by the CBFC.
The channel's reps attended a meeting with the BCCC's officials and admitted to the error, saying, “It was due to a technical error that the lapse occurred,“ and voluntarily proposed to run the apology scroll. The apology scroll will run twice between May 11 and May 13 during the telecast of Bollywood 2020, at 4.30pm and 10pm.
