Designed to dole out music in true designer style, the headphones by Karl Lagerfeld managed to make noise even before they hit the shelves. Lagerfeld teamed up with the tech company Monster to deliver the state-of-the-art sound device for audiophiles and fashionistas.

Sporting Chanel’s signature quilted leather design and a complementing case, the headphones also flaunt the interlocking Cs. The all-black audio accessory will make it to the ears of the well-heeled with serious deep pockets. Priced at $5,000 (Rs 3 lakh), they will ship with ‘timeless aesthetics and supreme audio technology’. Chanel had bought these headphones to life at the Autumn/Winter 2014 Paris Fashion Week where a few models sported them around their necks.
