Celina Wadia dishes out fashion advice: Wear what makes you feel good

She’s married into one of India’s oldest business families. But Celina Wadia has stayed away from the spotlight since her wedding to the Bombay Dyeing heir Jeh Wadia. That may change soon though, with her entry into the business.

In a recent magazine interview, Celina shared details about the influences that have shaped her fashion sensibility. ‘Simplicity’ and ‘less is more’ are her mottos, while A lexander McQueen, Tom Ford, Roberto Cavalli , Azzedine Alaia and Balmain jostle for her closet space. Or at least, what’s left of it after her stiletto collection. The list of her influences includes names such as Ralph Lauren Home, The White Company and Frette.

Yet her fashion advice is basic. “There are no rules anymore. Ultimately wear what makes you feel good. Dressing well should mean putting a spring in your step,” she says in the interview.
