Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton hotels, may have frowned upon the hotel room antics of his great granddaughter. The tape, titled '1 Night in Paris', showed Hilton having sex with her boyfriend Rick Salomon in a room in the French capital. Hilton claimed to be not in her full senses when the filming tookplace, and did not expect it to be made public. Reportedly, Salomon had to pay her damages in an out-of -court settlement. He's a poker player, and his mischief with the tape was a bad call.

Jennifer Lopez

Her marriage to Ojani Noa in 1997 lasted only eleven months. But Noa had 21 hours of video he shot of JLo, some of which was graphic and rumoured to also contain spanking. There were times when Lopez exposed herself willingly too. However, she was successful in stopping the footage from being made public.

Hulk Hogan

The wrestler was caught on tape with Heather Clem, the ex-wife of his friend, wellknown radio jockey Bubba the Love Sponge. It is believed Bubba too was in the same room, off camera. There even is a casual conversation between the three, before the man rumoured to be Bubba says, "You guys do your thing. I'll be in the office if you need me." In 2012, gawker.com published extracts of the tape. Hogan sued them for $100 million. It looks like a long battle.

John Edwards

Behind the charm and family man image was a philanderer who had an affair even when his wife Elizabeth was dying from cancer. Seemingly on the road for a Demo c r at ic nomination in the 2008 elect i o n s , Edwards's true character was brought to light by, what else, a tape of him having sex with his mistress Rielle Hunter. The revelations made Elizabeth's final years painful but also purposeful. Hunter wrote an ingracious account of the affair that further sullied her reputation. Edwards's career was deservedly destroyed.

Colin Farrell

The Minority Report actor made a sex tape with former girlfriend and Playboy model Nicole Narain. As it happens with these things, it was soon online. Narain was sued. But the matter was resolved out of court. Reportedly, it was amicable. But someone clearly benef it ted from the publicity and no prizes for guessing who that was.
