It was a proud moment for the entire family when Kumarmangalam Birla’s son Aryaman was snapped up by the Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2018. But proud sister Advaitesha marked the memory last week with a picture — a rather sporty one of Aryaman. The Birla scion just received his first pay cheque as a budding cricketer, Rs 30 lakh, the amount paid for the left-handed batsman and left-arm spinner.

The 20-year-old is all set to play in the big league, waiting to play alongside captain Steve Smith and the rest of the team. “To be around that group will be a huge learning curve for me,” Aryaman told The Times of India. Meanwhile, it’s celebrations at the Birla home.
