Celebration time for Toyota! Fortuner crosses one lakh milestone

NEW DELHI: Japanese auto major Toyota today said it has sold over 100,000 units of its premium sports utility vehicle Fortuner in India ever since its launch in 2009.

N. Raja, Director & Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “Being able to serve more than one lakh happy customers in such a premium and competitive segment, is a huge achievement for us."

The new Fortuner launched in November too has received good response and clocked over 6000 bookings. Toyota has dispatched around 2000 units.
