Celebrated Indian chef Gaggan Anand wants to ensure people eat with their hands in his restaurant
Gagaan's homecoming trip is always about getting inspiration.

Gaggan is currently in Mumbai and is enjoying eating at some of his favourite local restaurants including Swati Snacks, which he lists as his favourite restaurant in the city. He posted that every time he visits, he gets inspired by their menu. This time it was the bajra and paneer in a pizza format that wowed the chef. But, it’s not just Mumbai that inspires him.
Gaggan also admits that the Golden Temple, which he last visited four years ago, was a big source of inspiration for him as it encouraged him to create what his restaurant is today, including eating many of the courses using your fingers. Before he shuts the restaurant down in 2020, he has one goal to fulfill — to make sure every course at his restaurant is eaten by hand.
