Priyanka Chopra shares her simple makeup trick for hiding tired eyes and dark circles.

Tired eyes can instantly make you look more exhausted than you actually feel, but Priyanka Chopra has a clever makeup trick to disguise those tell-tale dark circles. The actor has previously opened up about her beauty routine and the small techniques she relies on for a polished look. From using a smoky eye and nude lip when she is tired to blending foundation and lipstick for a softer finish, her approach is surprisingly simple and easy to recreate.

Priyanka Chopra’s trick for hiding tired eyes

In an interview with Vogue, Priyanka Chopra revealed one of her go-to makeup tricks for days when she has had little sleep. She explained that when she feels tired, she opts for dark eyes paired with a nude lip, creating a smoky look that helps draw attention away from dark circles. On days when she is feeling more rested, Chopra said she switches things around, choosing a bright lip with nude eyes instead.

Her eye makeup technique is equally understated. Chopra said she uses kohl when creating a black smoky eye. Otherwise, she prefers an eyeliner that can be smudged with a finger or brush for a more natural appearance. She explained that she does not like eyeliner that looks too obvious, adding that visible, harsh lines can ruin the overall look.

Blending is the secret to flawless makeup

For Chopra, the most important part of achieving polished makeup is blending. Whether it is eyeliner, foundation or lipstick, she prefers softened edges rather than sharply defined lines. She also applies this philosophy to her lips. Instead of wearing lipstick with a precise outline, Chopra said she likes to apply it “like a stain” and blend it with her finger. This creates a softer finish without overly sharp edges.

Priyanka Chopra’s traditional ubtan skincare hack

Chopra’s beauty routine also has a traditional touch, thanks to a skincare remedy she learned from her mother. In an old interview with Vogue, the The Bluff actress revealed that she used a homemade ubtan as a teenager, made with besan, or gram flour, and haldi, or turmeric.

She said the traditional mixture helped moisturise and exfoliate her skin when she was 16, while also leaving it feeling soothed. Calling it her mother’s way of caring for her skin, Chopra added that she has since passed the simple ubtan ritual on to many of her friends.

Secret behind her flawless face card

Chopra’s beauty routine begins well before makeup. In a Vogue interview, she highlighted the importance of keeping the skin hydrated, particularly while travelling. She noted that air travel can dehydrate the skin and recommended drinking water and using moisturiser on both the face and body whenever possible.

She also shared her love for body butter, particularly during her time in New York. At night, she applies it generously before putting on socks and going to sleep, a routine she said leaves her feet feeling exceptionally soft the next morning. When it comes to makeup, Chopra has learned that moisturising before applying foundation can reduce the amount of base makeup needed. Her philosophy is simple: less is better.
