CCL team will decide Aijaz Ashai's fate on his return
The physiotherapist Aijaz Ashai was sacked from his position with the Nepal cricket team after he was accused by a masseuse of molesting her during Nepal's recent tour of Ireland. Since then, other women anonymously, have made allegations of sexual offences against Ashai.

Ashai is also the official physio for Mumbai Heroes in the Sohail Khan-promoted Celebrity Cricket League ( CCL). His fate will be decided once the physio is back in India.

Vikas Kapoor, a film producer and a co-owner of Mumbai Heroes, says Ashai remains the team physiotherapist as of now. "It's very unfortunate that we read all of these reports in the media but we cannot commit to anything till he is back in the country and we meet him personally," Kapoor says.

Kapoor says the Mumbai Heroes did not receive any complaints against Ashai while he was working with them. Ashai is a noted physiotherapist in the sports field and has treated the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Mahesh Bhupathi and many Bollywood stars.
