Casio G-Shock claims the Gravitymaster GPW1000 analog timepiece is 'the world's first atomic solar hybrid watch'. That's quite a mouthful. It means, the watch can automatically set its time by atomic-clockbased time calibration radio signals transmitted from six timekeeping stations around the world and GPS technology to adjust automatically and display accurate time.

Wearable in the harshest environments, G-Shock's 'Triple G Resist' structure makes it resistant to shock, vibration and gravity. It receives thermal and electrical energy that recharges the watch batteries through solar panels on the face of the watch. In the fl ight mode, the GPS can be turned off by button operation.
