Cartier's bejeweled panther roars for the 100th time
The jewelled panther has always been synonymous with Cartier, and the muse definitely deserves to be decked out on its 100th anniversary.

First spotted in 1914 on a wristwatch, the diamond and onyx feline has now left its demure roots to step into the lair of the fierce and contemporary, with a brand new collection.

Panthère de Cartier is a series of 56 sparklers, each commemorating the feline's centennial edition. The icon is spotted fashioned in various moods, stances and jewelled configurations of diamonds, onyx and emeralds.

Interestingly, the collection relies more on structure and form, minus the fuss and complications, which lends the panther a coming-of-age quality. From rings and necklaces to brooches, earrings and bracelets, why don't you take your pick and surprise your own muse?
